They used to be good…

The last time I visited the Wendy’s on Williamson Road, across from the Roanoke City Police Annex, it was of great quality and service.  Well, the service still seems nice, but the quality or preparation of the food has taken a dive.

It has been a month or so since I went through the drive-thru, but when I did, I was very disappointed by the rawness of the bacon on my bacon cheeseburger value meal.  Sometimes the bacon will become kind of soggy if it sits around a lot of moisture for extended periods, but this was definitely undercooked.

On top of the bacon being undercooked and my having to microwave it to complete the the cooking process, my diet pepsi tasted like carbonated water!  What an epic failure!  There was no rationalizing my way through this meal - it really just sucked.  My girlfriend picked it up, otherwise, I would have probably taken it back, though I’m not really big on wasting more of my time to allow a fast food restaurant to “get it right”.
